About the New Build and Character Files

So, while debugging I've recently found out a significant way to reduce the performance cost of the game, by reformatting the character files. That said, if you have any of the old files that are over 50mb, you should swap them out for the newer, smaller size files, if you want to drastically decrease load times and have better game performance.

All the itch.io files and patron packs have been re-uploaded with the new files. Otherwise, you can get all the new files in the game itself.

Standard difficulty is not supposed to be too easy. Soley using normal attacks to defeat opponents is probably not the best strategy in any situation, and will probably frustrate anybody. Yes, you do need to plan out what moves you make, and when. I made countering easier since the 0.7 builds, so maybe try some of your own counters. You should be utilizing grab attacks and capitalizing on opponent weaknesses. When your character is worn out, the amount of pressing will go up somewhat. Aside from that, I don't think it really takes the player too long to recover from anything really.

Bomb-A-HEAD

I find the enemy AI aggression on the standard mode to be a little bit obnoxious to play against. They counter you at a really high rate. I find myself moving around in circles trying to land the first shot by baiting out their attacks to win. It's not really very satisfying trying to run in circles and press light attack in single intervals because my iterative attacks get hard countered. Then the amount of button presses it takes to escape is painful.
