Loyalty Reward Release #5 - One Time Release!...and other stuff!

I'm sure many of you remember the preview video I put up not too long ago...Well, today I'm releasing the alpha for that game as a one time loyalty reward! This means that even though this game will receive updates through to completion the same as some other games, it will only be released on Patreon this once. Further updates to the game will will come via the PT, and the game will be released on the website at a much later time, to be determined. That said, the game runs using the piratetripper.
Please keep in mind that there are more loyalty reward releases of this nature on the way.
This is going to be a small game, not much more complex than it currently is . For now, stage 1 is more or less done. I'm planning two more stages, and a few more animations, also perhaps refining some existing ones. There is quite some balancing to be done, and there are a few bugs/oversights, such as not accounting for what happens if you get too much candy --'. So...probably don't fill up your inventory with candy... Also, even though the game creates the data.txt file, it doesn't save locally as of yet. Game saves in the room with three hatches side by side.
I highly recommend using a joystick for this. JoytoKey is a convenient program that I've suggested many times.

Instructions are in the game for now. Next update for the game should come soon. Just as before, if you're having any trouble at all please PM me, and I'll get you sorted out.
In other news, you should all be getting a notification about Patreon having to apply sales tax to more patrons by law today. They've said it won't affect most Patrons, but I've still tried to set things so that if it does somehow apply to this patreon, it will have a minimal effect. If anything seems out of wack on your bill however, let me know.

I found one small bug that I haven't seen mentioned: if you examine something while holding down a direction, Kinah will keep moving in that direction without input after the message disappears. Pressing that direction again makes her stop.

At some point, there will be a key or something similar you can find that will open the other hatches which is where the other stages will be. I'll be sure to iron those other things out as the game is updated. Of course, if you spot anything else, be sure to let me know.

2020-06-01 18:03:43 +0000 UTC1) After beating the boss for the first time, when we go down and see 3 stairs/portals, 2 locked and one open. The open one sends me to a random place every time I close the game and start over. I assume the different places I get to are the 3 stages available, but theyโre not tied to a certain stair/portal. The left one can go to all three. 2) In the stage where I need to beat the boss on the right and left for their keys to press the button. If I kill him near the top wall, the key drop in an unreachable spot. 3) Also, leading the boss on one side of the blocked button and standing in the other side to kill him with fire and be safe feel like an exploit. It makes more sense if the blocked button blocks fire as well. (Ppl who used this strategy will hate for pointing this out, but itโs just fair XD). That was a full day of fun ๐

This can be different from your first payment. For example, if your first payment was on July 1st 2019, you probably joined in June, so you'd need to enter Jun-19.
