Thanks all for the comments! Hmm, very interesting. Seems I have some research to do. I'm not making a "top ten villains!" video, it's more specific than that, but telling more would be spoilers :)

2017-01-29 11:26:38 +0000 UTCAdrian Vauclair, from Shadowrun: Dragonfall (the Director's cut in particular, also SPOILERS). He's a pretty classic anti-villain: While he's done some awful things in pursuit of his goal, he really is trying genuinely to make the world a better place. He can be reasoned with, and in the Director's cut he can even be either redeemed (leading to a slightly different outcome for him) or agreed with (leading to a pretty gut-punchy ending about why his plan was a really, really bad idea). Now IIRC you don't interact with him pretty much at all except for one conversation at the end of the game, but then, that's exactly what would happen in a story with him as the villain: He's focusing on a greater goal, not on toying with some random criminals on the street. Also, I like his name. It has the strength and class that befits a dragon slayer.

Exiled by both the Jedi and the Sith I can totally understand why she's had enough of the force altogether. She's like the ultimate Star Wars villain, while everyone else is playing with the dark and light of the force like a bunch of kids with toys, she's a level above it all, wanting to destroy the force at it's roots. I'm sure a compelling story can be made dissecting why that might actually be a good idea (ala The Legend of Korra season 1).
