Aries: Wheel

Spin, spin, spin…….

The Wheel of the Year continues to turn, even when you refuse to go along with it Aries. You have been feeling disconnected from the natural cycle of the world around you, and it is time you get back in touch with the spirits of nature.

The Wheel doesn’t mean you need to travel to far off lands, but rather it encourages you to head into your own backyard. Explore the lakes and rivers nearby. Spend your days sun soaked in the park. Learn the local history and lore. Clean up the green spaces around you.

Before long, the spinning won’t make you dizzy, it’ll make you dance.

Taurus: Broom

All forms of cleansing are in store for you this month Taurus. Both physical and spiritual. You have been letting the dust build up both inside your home, and inside your mind. A heavy blanket of debris has been weighing you down, and you can’t continue on like this.

Imagine a gentle breeze flowing in through the windows, pushing your broom as you sweep from side to side……the mental heaviness flowing out through your arms and into the pile on your dustpan.

Feels great doesn’t it?

Gemini: Raven

I’d be lying if I said June was going to be an easy-breezy month for you. A major truth is coming, one that will shake you to the core and change the course of your life.

Spiritual beliefs will shift, and in most cases they will reawaken. This energy is neither negative or positive, it just exists as is. It’s up to you to shape it into one or the other.

So grab your shield, and your sword, and follow the cry.

Cancer: Ladder

How much do you know about ladder safety, Cancer? Well, the basics go like this: when working on a ladder, you should always maintain three contact points with it.

Two feet and one hand.

This same rule applies when you’re working your way up in life. You need to maintain three contact points within yourself.

Mind, body and spirit.

When you know those three things are safe and secure, only then you can begin grabbing more with your free hand.

Try and reach too soon, or take something that requires two hands, and you just might come crashing to the ground. Go ahead with care.

Leo: Horseshoe

A mentors arrival is not always expected Leo. In fact, more often than not, they find us before we even know we need one.

You’re setting out on a new path this month. Along your travels you will pick up many new skills, but it’s best not to let ego get in the way. While you are naturally gifted at many things, other people sometimes have more experience, and their advice will be beneficial.

Look at it this way, the apprentice blacksmith doesn’t make a perfect horseshoe his first try at it. Each one he makes gets a bit better with practice. He also has a template provided by his teacher that he can reference until he doesn’t need it anymore.

Don’t try and tweak something because you think it’s better that way, at least not until you’ve mastered the original.

Virgo: Black Ink

Is it better to be the prophet or scribe, Virgo? Some might think that it’s better to be the prophet because they are chosen to receive the message, but without the scribe to record it, nobody else will ever read it. And what good is that really?

There is immense value in the work done behind the scenes. Bringing information to the public is a divine right, and you have a busy month ahead doing just that.

Share the thoughts and writings of those who you admire. Look for clues in the black ink that scatters across paper. Honour the scribes who made sure every “i” was dotted, and “t” crossed. They really are the ones who bring the ideas to life.

Libra: Door

The door to the past is knocking Libra…..

Over the last couple months, you have been letting a bunch little things go unfinished. Perhaps you didn’t think they were that important, or maybe you told yourself that you would worry about them later.

Well….now it’s later, and they are all coming at once. You have a choice here: revisit the past and fix the mistakes now, or try and ignore them until the knocking is so loud, you hear it when you try and sleep.

It’s not always fun to redo projects and tie up loose ends, but that is the situation you find yourself in. A situation you created on your own, so don’t go pointing fingers. The skeletons in your closet always remember.

Scorpio: Child + Perfume

Inner child healing is a huge theme for you over the next month Scorpio. This cycle of understanding your past and digging up traumas will actually go on for the next year, but you really dive in head first over the next 30 days.

The simplest of memories will be what kicks off this journey. Sometimes when we look back at our lives, we discover the sweetest perfume is actually covering up a foul smell.

This journey is never easy, but if anybody can handle peering into dark corners……it’s you. Honour the child of the past, by giving her a safe place place in your future.

Working with a therapist or counselling professional is your safest bet.

Sagittarius: Scissors

Snip, snip, snip……

Scissors are the most practical tool you can have in your toolbox Sagittarius. They are often viewed with a negative connotation, but in reality, they are neither positive or negative. It’s how you wield them is what matters.

Imagine your life is a big piece of construction paper, and you are armed with scissors. What shapes would you cut out? Would you focus on round flowing lines, or would you focus on sharp and jagged edges?

You are the archetype of your life.

Capricorn: Poison

Holding a grudge is like slowly ingesting poison Capricorn. Envy and shame are two of the most powerful. They will infect every cell of your being if you allow them to.

This month, you are being asked to let go of old resentments and feuds. It is not easy work for you, that’s for sure. It requires a deep vulnerability that you aren’t keen on showing to anyone, including yourself.

However, you are more than capable.

And remember, letting go doesn’t mean acceptance or forgiveness, it just means you won’t allow situations to torment you anymore.

Aquarius: Sacred Stone + Syringe

Ancestral lands are calling your name Aquarius.

This month, it is important to get back in touch with your roots. Even if you can’t visit the places of your lineage (colonization, urbanization, etc), just know the energy of those places still exist. It is in the trees….in the rocks….and in your blood.

Humans have carved rocks for eons. They range from small lines and etches used for counting to elaborate engravings that honour the gods. Every single one is important.

Nowhere is this importance better displayed than in a burial ground or a cemetery. If you can’t visit the resting places of your ancestors, dedicate your time taking care of others. Clean up your local cemetery, donate to land-back organizations, or create little monuments for your loved ones on your own.

Pisces: Frog

Does the tadpole know that one day it will be a frog, Pisces? Or does it just live in the moment, unaware of what comes next?

We don’t always see the changes as they are happening. They build up over time; little by little, until one day we have evolved into someone completely different!

Your goal this month is an easy one: just go with the flow.

Ok….so it’s easy in theory, not so much in practice, but luckily you are a natural in the water.

You just need to trust that you’re on the journey to becoming that magnificent frog, and it’ll happen when it happens.
