2025-04-19 16:21:15 +0000 UTCVery minor thing but I think for the great episodes its worth listening to the dub. Not because I want to push for one over the other but because the localization actually ADDED to the story in a couple key moments. Thinking mostly to Aura and Frieren chatting as they fought and the absolute dirty low blow Aura uses in the dub is much more impactful. I wouldn't recommend switching out for your main viewing but when you circle back between the reaction and the recap I would recommend giving the dub a try for those key moments.

2025-04-19 06:12:12 +0000 UTCOkay, first of all my favorite animation this episode is stark putting on his coat. In general this show has shockingly good cloth animation. Next you mentioned humans have protection magic, first of all, no, fern is a war orphan, a war between humans where they used the spell they learned from the demons to kill each other. So now time for my warrior theory. She mentioned she copies the mana from inside the warriors as they move. I believe warriors also use mana, just not in the same ways as mages. Warriors are internal and mages external. Warriors have tuff bodies and can move insanely fast as show last ep. That's my thought anyway I don't believe the Manga ever goes over this but stark is able to survive some crazy things.

2025-04-13 19:34:52 +0000 UTCHe overlooked her reputation because he didn't know it was Frieren, he never did stop to get her name from her. Honestly it's probably good he didn't because if the demons found out she was Frieren they might've planned a much more thorough attack to eliminate her that may have dragged innocent civilians into the middle of it.
