Ruby needs to not become Summer. Her whole issue is that she needs to shed the burden of trying to live up to her mother and instead be her own person. It's the wrong way around.

2023-04-19 12:32:33 +0000 UTCSo crazy theory I cant see this being the case but what if Ruby takes her mother weapon and Becomes Summer Rose then something like what happened to Jaune happens to her were she returns to remnant years earlier with no memory finds Taiyang and has a daughter with him and the daughter gets her old personality that would be an insane twist Ruby was her mother all along.
