I work from my home. So, it comes with a lot of distractions especially when your are living with your whole family. And thanks to quarantine, everyone is around all the time.
Since I work on NSFW paintings, use a lot of NSFW references, a little bit of piece of mind and much needed privacy would be great. It will help me focus better on my artwork.
My setup just doesn't look old, it is.
You might want to open the image in a new tab to zoom in and read the specs. It's i5, 3gig processor with 8gb ram. It's around 10yrs old. It's slow, crashes now and then with the blue screen, brush starts to lag after I add around 10 to 15 layers at just 72dpi (I paint with upto 200 layers). I don't have a ups for power back up. And I have pretty frequent power cuts.
And I draw on a Bamboo create (CTH670).
The model isn't even in production now. There is some lose connection where I connect the Usb cable. So it keeps disconnecting every now and then. I've tried with many other cables, the fault lies in the tablet.
Yes, these are my working conditions. I hope with enough support from my patrons, I will have my own personal workspace, a new and improved setup some day that will allow me create images way bigger than 4K resolution, at 300dpi and work on more projects like artbooks, animations, video tutorials, etc.
