FIFTH PREVIEW: A Higurashi Gou & Sotsu Post-Mortem (+ June Updates)

I’m here to share the final 20-minute preview of A Higurashi Gou & Sotsu Post-Mortem, ending at one hour and forty minutes into the video as a whole, just before I begin talking about Sotsu. Previews one, two, three and four are here. After this point the video changes a bit — being that the Sotsu arcs are so short, I recap them all in one and then talk about them holistically rather than going episode by episode. I also discuss the Gou manga versions of the question arcs. Roughly, I talk about Onidamashi/Oniakashi for 30 minutes, Watadamashi/Wataakashi for an hour (lol), Tataridamashi/Tatariakashi for 40 minutes, Nekodamashi for 45 minutes, Kagurashi for 45 minutes (which kind of has a Saikoroshi analysis interwoven into it too), and then my final thoughts for about 25 minutes. Needless to say, lots still to come.
As mentioned, I have to go through enhanced background checks for my job before I can start and they’re taking quite a while, so I’ve been able to dedicate lots of time to the video. I’ve edited up to the halfway point now and am really happy with my progress. I can finally say with confidence that I’m on track to finish and upload the whole thing in July! Depending on when in the month the video ends up being done I might be back with a final update then, or this might end up being my final one 😱
