As a person who has the quadrilogy of the games if they were to remake them, I would love to have a chance to play as BlackRose, Mistral, Mia, and/or Elk as playable characters to which out from just using Kite. At least with them, they're central story characters until their reasonable absence during parts 3 and four so the game can give us Wiseman and Balmung to use to replace Mia, Mistral, and Elk for the DPS role of physical and magic.
