"Glimmers of Light: Entry Two, SlowedTime"

There are humans in this world that are a rarity and if the universe smiles upon you then you are lucky enough to have your paths intersect.

That's how I feel about my soulmate... I can't even call her my bestfriend because she is so much more than that term can provide. She is someone that our souls immediately sparked from day one and that connection has never fizzled out... its electrical current has only strengthened over time.

How did we meet?

At our halloween shoot that our local photography studio was hosting and we both had volunteered out time to be apart of.

Right before she arrived, everyone was so estatic for us to meet. They were all right.

However, that night we didnt get to chat too much as we were both so busy shooting and then I came to find out she had become ill and left early.

I messaged her, inviting her out to breakfast.

She accepted. We both arrived to the brunch spot with makeup and goofy butterflies. Ten mins into our breakfast beverages, we both admitted we put makeup on to impress the other and prove we were "real" professional models. We had a good laugh and never ever felt the need to "impress" the other again.

The rest of the day was spent eating, shopping and beginning a friendship that would stand the test of time.

The rest is history!

And damn, has soooooooo much history evolved since that beginning.

We have driven across the country together, faced awful host situations that almost ruined our beautiful bond, my unfortunate relationship fails that she counseled me through and she even started her own family with an incredible baby boy that I love as my own.

We also created a brand that will tour when the time is right : "SlowedLight"... more on that soon!

ThereMy life would not be the same without her and I can "cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die" believe that I'll never have to know a life without her.

Sometimes the universe not only allows you to 'follow the light' but gifts you a soul to journey along aside you <3
