This new addition to my platform includes a more personal touch :D
We start off "The Lumen Life" with the East Coast Tour featuring some amazing artists.
As previously mentioned, I drove down the East Coast (Boston to Miami) solo but I had two friends accompany me on the return trip: Athenyx & Sophia!
Athenyx (the blonde) is my web designer, a creator and a long term friend. She was absolutely amazing from being so helpful with shoots to even jumping into her first shoots as a model....ever! Though she does prefer to stay behind the camera, she loved her experiences and has no regrets trying out the model life for a few days :D
Sophia is a very talented model from upstate New York and I truly enjoying shooting /creating with her. She has a very soft and artistic style yet can set the place on fire when she wants to!
Both of these amazing woman were wonderful to have along the journey and I'm so happy they were with me during my poor car's untimely death in Charlotte NC. An unfortunate stroke of bad luck when an oil change was poorly done resulting in ruining Louise's engine (my car's name)....but more on that later!
One of the highlight's of our drive back was being able to stop in Palm Beach to see one of my dearest friends and co-model, Slowed Time/ Sarah Anne. It was the first time for all of these artists to meet and we spent the evening sharing stories and inspiring one another's journeys. The following day, we "relaxed" by the pool... but that interprets to Athenyx shooting us by the pool and SlowedTime teaching me some new yoga tricks :D
This was my first long tour... usually I don't go on the road for more than a week at a time. This tour was one whole month long and I completed more than half of the tour solo!
Yes, there were a few lows (such as Louise) which is to be expected on a lengthy journey. But overall, this was a wildly successful trip! Every photographer I worked with was so creative, kind and professional... I can't wait to share it all here!
After a few days at home, I'm officially back on the road... or in the air? lol
I flew to West Coast at 6am this morning and started my tour in Sacremento! I had a very successful shoot, managed to fit in a workout at the hotel gym and finishing my evening by signing on here.
Big bonus to my West Coast Tour is my stop in San Francisco for a few days where I will be meeting up with my model/dance friend, PoppySeedDancer. Yes! I will posting all about it right here!
