With extra-hot weather, vacation, and a crunch at work it's been hard to find quality time for Adaptions stories lately. This failure is perfectly expressed in Canvas's predicament while trying to display an apology message for you - it's remarkable she got as far as she did, really!

Things might be a little slow this month as I get back into it, but in the next wave of updates you can look forward to:

* It's canonically Jewel's birthday at the end of August - https://www.patreon.com/posts/jewel-im-worth-69163068 - and she's the kind of girl who likes to throw a party

* With the main stories of the Pillow gang told it's time to line up the next friend group of Adapts, who have a slightly different outlook on life

* I'm also determined to reboot my old story Missing Ink - https://www.deviantart.com/coatnoise/gallery/62957364/missing-ink - in a more visual way after (mumble) years thinking about it. This takes place in an earlier timeframe than the current Adapts world and sets up some of the things that are now familiar to Canvas & co

* Coming somewhere in the middle chronologically was Return to Ty Gwyn - https://www.deviantart.com/coatnoise/art/Return-to-Ty-Gwyn-1-902140132 - which was MEANT to be a short Christmas story last year, but then blossomed out of control and then it wasn't Christmas any more. As the festive season rolls around again I hope to conclude Ceri and Tal's story
