Pillow's Aftercare

While her motivation for Adapting was to become a kind of emotional caretaker - with a slight side-order of agoraphobia mitigation - and to focus on being a centre of comfort to a compatible partner, Pillow's own emotional needs are reciprocated when she is fully immersed in that role.
Resting on the couch with her person, her reduced body offering soft warmth and comfort, Pillow feels safe and at ease. At the end of a tiring day, and with a sip of whisky in her belly, the faint noise from the TV barely registers as Pillow begins to doze. She will lie there, calmly and happily fulfilling her purpose as long as she is needed.
