Update + Behind the Scenes!

Hey! Next series is almost finished. I'm doing a couple more set pieces with multiple female characters, which increases render-time. There's currently 10 images and variants still climbing.

I also just wanted to give some insight into the process of my art. I receive many misconceptions about my artistic process with a lot of people assuming it's the same the as the one render, one layer art style you see in abundance on DeviantArt and SLUSHE.

You cannot do just one render to achieve this specific art style.

While rendering is large part of the process, my art style is more closer to being a light painting than it is to being a render. To achieve these results, It requires a lot of rendering, patience, painting, texturing and sometimes re-rendering and re-painting to get results.

In the more complex pieces, there up to 50-60 layers, while simple pieces tend be around 15-20.

Anyway, I hope this enlightens you a little bit as to way sometimes it takes a week to get a series out.

However, what I'm constantly keeping in mind is: "how I can I produce faster while not sacrificing quality" and I feel I'm getting closer to that with every series. I'm also experimenting with simpler setups, which I haven't released yet.
