The funk continues. Let me give a breakdown of what happened in the past few months, which might help explain why there hasn't been any content lately.

First I started figuring out VaM (Virt A Mate). With RegularWallaby's help and a lot of trial and error, I got a basic scene going with Qetesh possessing an office lady and taking her over. I got about 90% done but was struggling with the last little bit.

I also started playing with a scene involving Patty, thinking I could get a quick win by doing a few sex scenes with her, but it turns out that even that is somewhat challenging. It seems that maybe VaM is a very good sandbox and sex simulator, but not necessarily the best tool for animating the way I do. VaM 2 is around the corner, perhaps things will improve.

With my first 2 attempts into VaM proving to be a big headache, I decided to release the first voice-acted AI video, thinking that I'd get one win while I continued to sort out VaM. Of course, this also backfired as there was more criticism than I was expected. This is the first time I've felt legitimate hatred coming from the community; I think aimed at the AI and not at me, but it still feels really bad. My thought is that if you don't like something, you should just ignore it, but this seems to have really brought out peoples' bad side.

In response, I created the Man Vs Machine contest, to demonstrate the differences between my animation and the AI. While I plowed through the 1st half quite fast, I hit a wall with the 2nd half, namely because the texture change causes Poser to become unresponsive, so I have to "work in the dark" and not see accurate textures. This has been a big problem for me ever since I upgraded to Poser 13, and it takes some of the wind out of my sails.

And this whole time, I've basically made no progress on what I'm supposed to be working on: New Face 2 :(

I'm hoping to unravel all these unfinished projects and get back to the main objective soon.

Hang in there. I am so sorry for the rough patch. You are an amazing artist and this will all work out.

I'm sorry things have been tough for ya. I suppose that comes with learning a new software and seeing the faults in your older software. But keep at it if it's what ya want. Especially if you think it's going to be an improvement overall. You've put down a lot of content before so no worries.
