I really like this first movie. The actors add a lot of subtle touches in all of these movies in terms of body language or simply how they look at something (and their vacant stares) that shows exactly what a character is feeling. Well, the romance between MJ and Peter is kinda overdone, but there's other small touches as well that I don't really see much in modern movies (least not the ones I watch). That being said, I don't care all that much for MJ since she's kind of a thot (she kisses 4 guys in this first movie to her knowledge, since she didn't know Spidey and Peter were the same person and basically cheats on her boyfriend harry with 1 of them). I do like Tobey best of all of the live action Peter Parker's. I waited reacting to these movies until after I bought and saw the 4K blu-rays. The movies definitely looked better than previous iterations, but mostly okayish for 4K standards. Sound however is outstanding (I do have a high-end Dolby-Atmos capable soundbar though).

2023-09-03 22:14:01 +0000 UTCOh I know π such a tear jerker that scene the emotion in that scene makes me cry all the time especially what Peter's last words were to him π but believe me Spiderman 2 is a masterpiece to me the greatest Spiderman movie of all time equally as amazing and just as emotional in a different way you can't miss it trust me and Spiderman 3 is fantastic also Imo it gets a bad rap cause some fans and people didn't like certain story elements but I personally love it
