As @Matthew mentioned above, the Grand Inquisitor is most definitely dead. His last words to Kanan were: "You have no idea what you have unleashed here today. There are some things far more frightening than death". He rather fall to his death, than having to face his boss - Darth Vader - after failing.
Also, love grown up Ahsoka and her samurai-armor-inspired outfit. π Last we had seen her she was still a kid, leaving the Jedi Order in the Season 5 finale of Clone Wars (2013) and nobody had any idea what had happened to her - lots of people just assumed she had died during Order 66 - until this came out two years later (2015). You can imagine Star Wars fans going totally bonkers!!! lol
Ah, and one more thing, perhaps you know this already, but better make sure you FINISH Rebels BEFORE the Ahsoka live show comes out. That show is supposed to be a live action follow up to the story in Rebels.

The Inqusitor is dead, he dropped so he would not have to answer for his failure. Keep in mind that this was the first time had been seen since the clone wars. The Final season of clone wars was made after this.
