A quote from the Silmarillion explains the friendship of dwarves perfectly: "Aulë made the Dwarves strong to endure. Therefore they are stone-hard, stubborn, fast in friendship and in enmity" I really enjoyed your reaction to this! To me, it was even better the second time. I genuinely do not get why this is currently the lowest-rated episode on imdb right now. Boggles the mind 🤷♂️

The Balrog (aka Durin's Bane), Galadriel and Theo hiding under the fallen tree branches - very much like the Hobbits hiding from the ring wraith, the four Harfoots embarking on a journey searching for a wizard (my guess is that will be for season 2). Even the speech from Nori's father is one that Sam gives in the books. Also, the place where Bronwin and the surviving southlanders are going is part of the future realm of Gondor.
