Yep. I think the biggest clue was how interested he was in joining the Smith's Guild in Numenor π²... Plus also, he is a good-looking charmer with - as Snax mentioned - some serious "anger" issues... Who knows? Maybe? LOL

I mean, this Adar - Benjen Stark BTW!!! π - could end up being one of them. My other candidate is Halbrand, who could also end up being Sauron himself! I am just enjoying the questions and the guessing game. π

2022-09-10 23:30:13 +0000 UTCI believe Elros has long been dead. He, and his twin brother Elrond were half-elves and as such, were given a choice. Elrond chose to stay with the elves and lived a long life. Elros chose to join the humans - in the words of movie Arwen: "I choose a mortal life" - and thus became mortal. The Numenorians are the descendants of Elros.

I always thought that if I could be a JRPG character, I can definitely see myself as a BeastMaster and I would want to tame all the beasts in the universe! 2022-09-10 23:12:35 +0000 UTCYep that is THE Isildur! Which, I would guess means that the show is supposed to take place around 3000 years before LOTR. It's a little hard to know for certain, because the show is taking a lot of creative liberty, but I mean, he has a father named Elendil, so my best guess is that he is him. I'm excited to see who "Adar" is, too! I read that there isn't mention of an Adar in Tolkien's writings. I kind of doubt that he's Sauron, but it's possible. I also saw some speculating that's he's just a corrupted elf (which doesn't seem like it would warrant that cliffhanger though), or one of Galadriel's brother's. I do like the idea that he's Sauron though, rebuilding his power and influence.
