It's great that you had that kind of upbringing of "don't ask others to do what you're not willing to come right beside them and do." I've had bosses that I feel haven't had that, or have forgotten that. I think that's the difference between being a leader and just being a teacher. There are other differences too, but I think that's one of the biggest.
