I admit I struggled a bit with the leather vest initially. I honestly had no idea on how to do it (as much as I liked Catwoman vest, I didn't like the process of it). I have no issue on doing "textured" or folded leather, but stretched out is surprisingly harder for me. So I started with the corset instead and eventually it kicked in how to do the rest. But I have to say the legs on both drawing this month were really interesting. It's something that I've been strugling when creating the drawings, is to give it a "flow" and curves. So it's something I'm definitely trying to improve in the past drawings.

thanks! It was really challenging to pull of this composition since I had to consider breast weight pulling to the sides against the leather vest "keeping them together", and overall it's an angle of the body that I don't draw very often.

Now this is even better than I already knew that it would be! 😄😍😍😍 I absolutely adore the colours and lighting here, there's a great sense of atmosphere and mood with this painting and I love how the light cuts across Black Cat's body, illuminating her and causing her leather suit to shine. As ever, your work is so beautifully detailed with a tonne of texture to it, the wooden floors, wall, sofa and Black Cat's clothing, skin and hair are all so distinct from one another in terms of texture and colour. I really like the sofa too, it has a subtle shine to it and the way the crossing patterns all over it indent, with those diamond sections all with their own rendered shapes looks fantastic, as do the general little dimples and indents into the cushion around where Cat is laying on them. But of course, Cat is the star here and she looks sensational. Her face is beautiful and I love how even though it's in shadow, her bright eyes still pop against the darker tones, her hair is brilliant too as it drapes over her arms, curling and twisting over and around her, similarly the fur at her chest and feet looks great too, incredibly well detailed and flowing. I can not overstate how well you did on her outfit, the long shines running down her legs, especially so on her left side with it starting beneath her breast, running down her body and conforming to all of those little folds across her torso look brilliant! The level of detail there really is fantastic and although it gave you trouble, it was definitely worth it. Absolutely magnificent work on this piece, the lighting and colours are striking with a great sense of mood and Cat herself is beautiful, sexy and alluring (and I like the little touch of having some stolen jewels behind her head 😂)
