Sylvanas - Preview

I wanted to show a more conflicted version of her, even though she's the badass leader, I think the issues she has with her sisters (you know, being alive and not on the same side as her) can add a lot of depth to the character, instead of just being a cold leader.
So I like to think she still keeps a small token of her past. =)

I like the feel of this piece, the expression on Sylvanas' face as she looks at her keepsake, tranquil and contemplative. The pose is very nice too with the turning away of Sylvanas' shoulders and chest, the twist further shown by her left arm reaching across her body, while her extended leg flows down. And it's pretty clear that within this painting, the background, Sylvanas herself and her attire are going to have a great deal of detail put into them, I'm looking forward to seeing how it all looks in the end.
