this has been a pretty miserable month for me due to a number of things i won't get into. despite this i did my best to trudge along and work on this month's animation. while i did get through a fair share of it, it is unfortunately not even close to done.

besides unrelated stuff bringing my mood down, i found myself dragging my feet a bit with the animation because it is, at the end of the day, not really what i want to do. i want to spend my time on long term projects (games), but keep falling into the trap of trying to push stuff out every month so you guys, you know, stick around.

i spent most of last year meandering and moping and i am not going to make the same mistake again. for now my plan is going to be to put out an animation every other month instead of every month, so that i cant spend way more time on long term stuff. if you feel like that's not enough to stay subscribed i get it, but this is what i want to do.

during months with no animation i'll still post something, just not anything substantial. as for what long term stuff i'll be working on, i'll give more information on that when i feel ready to, though i don't like saying much about stuff in progress until it's done.

for the $10 tier i've obviously been struggling to find the time/energy to figure out what to do, with most of the stuff just being some last minute thing that i throw together at the end of the month. i'm sorry if that has been disappointing. i think doing a whole ass separate thing every month was always a stupid/unrealistic idea from the start, and especially not something i can really keep up with if i want to spend most of my time on other stuff. so what i plan on doing instead is having alternate/bonus ending(s)/content/whatever for the animations that will be $10 tier exclusive. that way i can have stuff that's made specifically for that tier yet still builds on what i've already been working on, and without having to completely start over from scratch every time.
