I think its a nice little moment when Cooper notices that Ed is a bit jealous of Cooper's tuxedo, so Cooper compliments Ed's suit. Looking forward to the S1 finale reaction!

2025-12-20 06:42:30 +0000 UTCI've rewatched this show a bunch and I still find it hard to keep track of who's doing what and why with the mill plot lol I love how layered this show is though - and when I say we've barely even scratched the surface, you have no idea! Bringing in Sheryl Lee as Maddy was a stroke of genius - she's a truly remarkable actress who for some reason never rose as high as I think she deserved to. Audrey continues to be one of my faves - there's a lot going on behind the mask she wears. When she's crying in the previous episode, I think it's because she's the only one really *seeing* what's happening: a bereft father drowning in loss is being treated like a dancing monkey. The scene shows Audrey’s true colors. Despite her hard exterior and bratty attitude, deep-down she has a great heart and is a truly empathetic and compassionate person. It also separates her from the environment in which she’s grown up in, as everyone in that room was almost exploiting Leland’s grief as to not ruin the vibe of the party. It's always struck me as one of the more viscerally sad moments of the show. Very excited for the finale!
