"End of Days", an army of darkness is coming and Buffy would die if Angel stayed human. Just a few things the writers have to remember. And of course, that Amy is still a rat.

I don’t mind this trope of alternate realties in one episode, I like the exploration and freedom it gives the writers to create something fun, but those oracles are quite possibly the silliest things I have seen, it’s like they stepped out of the set of the 70’s Caligula. This is my 1st time watching Angel but have rewatched Buffy several times, and so far I’m finding Angel just a little bit slow and it would be even more of drag if it weren’t for watching along with you.

i think the point of this episode was to show the buffy/angel relationship to viewers who only wated angel and not buffy (which there are still many!!) so they understand the context/vibes of them, and the amnesia trope was used so that we can continue in buffy-land like this didn't happen

Well I became a patron lol. I’ve never been on patreon before! Even knowing you weren’t a fan I really needed to see your reaction. Love Bangel but even if you don’t this is still a telling episode. Angel still continues to think he knows best at times and does things without consulting people. And Buffy is still madly in love with Angel for better or for worse. It was hard for me to go back to Sunnydale and watch her with Riley. I’m glad she got her one happy day and we got to just see her so joyful. Angel too.
