The heroes actually act heroically for once, combining all their powers and resources to save every living being on Earth before it explodes. But that's not very dramatic, so Piccolo, a character who's only been in two episodes, has to die... somehow, for some reason. Even for the story arc that has everything, this is a dramatically potent but completely off-the-point way to end the story. But at least it makes Gohan cry... wait, is he in this story too? I'd kinda forgotten. Happy New Year! Well, Happy Christmas Eve, but, you know, it's the New Year's Even video, so... you're special for seeing it early! Thanks so much for your support!

In some cases you can be grateful that they're not cheering for you since usually the ones they do cheer for....are terrible people.
