I have not seen this in a while... but I have seen it many times over. It's difficult to remember my original reaction now but I remember I watched the episodes late at night with all the lights turned off and I have a big screen which was mostly dark and so the night was enveloping and the big screen pulls me right into the story and events that happened there. I sometimes describe this show as a warm embrace in darkness kind of like crawling into a shallow pit in the ground but finding it cozy, not a typical reaction. This theme, this episode... I don't think I've experienced anything like it elsewhere. The whole episode is set in a funeral parlor and there were no camera cuts!, hardly any. It made you feel like you were there. Oh this show is riveting!
(Even now it's been dark 5 hours and the night is quiet. I'll go to the next episode...)

Yep, the end of this episode gets me too. It's so brutally sad, but so well done.

I've seen a number of reactions to this episode and this part of the show hits...
I can't say that I am particularly close to a cry here but my empathy button gets tagged pretty good.
The idea of not being seen or heard or without hope is a cruel one and one that I found out during the single most dangerous moment of my life. No details here, let's just say one can often be their own worst enemy.
