I have not seen this in a while... but I have seen it many times over. It's difficult to remember my original reaction now but I remember I watched the episodes late at night with all the lights turned off and I have a big screen which was mostly dark and so the night was enveloping and the big screen pulls me right into the story and events that happened there. I sometimes describe this show as a warm embrace in darkness kind of like crawling into a shallow pit in the ground but finding it cozy, not a typical reaction. This theme, this episode... I don't think I've experienced anything like it elsewhere. The whole episode is set in a funeral parlor and there were no camera cuts!, hardly any. It made you feel like you were there. Oh this show is riveting! (Even now it's been dark 5 hours and the night is quiet. I'll go to the next episode...)

I can't say that I am particularly close to a cry here but my empathy button gets tagged pretty good. The idea of not being seen or heard or without hope is a cruel one and one that I found out during the single most dangerous moment of my life. No details here, let's just say one can often be their own worst enemy.
