I was just watching these to catch up and noticed you edited out one of Cordilia's best lines so I was wondering if it was intentional or a mistake of some kind since I thought these reactions are unedited.

I always find your predictions really funny, because you come to your conclusions, right or wrong, through the most fascinating and convoluted theories imaginable. This is not a critique, let me be clear, just an observation.
Buffy's dreams, we could have a whole discussion about this, but let me just say that it's one aspect of the Slayers' nature that I find particularly fascinating, both lore-wise and cinematic-wise.
From a cinematographic point of view, they are interesting because they are an opportunity for the production to experiment, you will see for yourself how visually they will evolve during the series. The language, both visual and literal, used in these sequences are always really symbolic, and cryptic, but once you “crack the code” they become quite easy to read, because the way they write them is always the same. (example, the monkey in the dream is no one else than Oz, this because the conversation between him and Willow at the end of “what's my line”).
From a lore point of view, these dreams are not “mere” prophetic dreams or visions of some kind, slayers can experience dreams as they do with the real world, and, maybe more important, understand the language of dreams. Since time and space have no meaning in dreams, slayers can experience past, present, and future, all together in the same way, be here and there at the same time, they can therefore access knowledge that otherwise would not be possible to have, and therefore give the impression to others, like the watchers, that they have “prophetic dreams”, even if they go far beyond that.
Let me be clear, how exactly this aspect of the slayers works is never explicitly clarified in the show and mostly let to the viewer's interpretation, this probably for narrative as much as practical reasons.
