2023-08-03 00:26:14 +0000 UTCI'm SO loving watching your Buffy journey Cass! This has been my favourite show since age 9 (I'm 31 now). It's an integral part of who I am and taught me so much about life and the world during my formative years, and it's essentially the reason I'm now a screenwriter and director. I've never watched somebody watch it for the first time, and it's just a total joy to see you react and fall in love with the characters and the storylines. I feel like in a lot of ways, this episode really gets to the core of the show's main focus of using monsters/the supernatural as metaphors for real-life horrors (in this case, domestic abuse). It definitely has a different vibe to many of the episodes so far. The beauty of this show is that it can be so fun and irreverent and entertaining, but also incredibly dark and profound, tackling incredibly important issues of life and the world. Season 2 has some absolute bangers. Thank you for sharing your Buffy journey with us, it's a pleasure to watch it with you! x
