If you can deal with a darker atmosphere and themes, and you’re a fan of Angel and Cordelia (trust that they also improve greatly and become more developed throughout), I’d say it’s more than likely that you would enjoy Angel, especially taking into account the various crossovers. But, hey, there’s only one way to find out! 🍿

Around the same time as "no means no" got its traction.

It’s really interesting to hear some of your predictions for the future of the show and to hear your logic behind them. You’re definitely already one of the best Buffy reactors out there! Now that you’re aware that Angel has a show, I’ll be the first of the many voices saying it’s definitely worth reacting to it when it arrives. No spoilers about when it starts, the premise or the setting but if you like Buffy there’s a high chance you’ll like Angel, given the crossover in producers, writers etc.

Cell phones and bluetooth headsets weren't really widespread among teens at that time (I'm pretty sure there are no cell phones in Buffy until season 6 or 7). That's why the line "If the apocalypse comes, beep me." existed in season 1 :)
