She seems to seek out self-destructive thrills just to reinforce that idea especially after she's had fairly quick reactions in BGTC from people trying to shake that foundation.

All of this is very nice, but I still really wish that Kaori's story was given proper depth with a comic. As much as you can do with either these, I personally believe it was a better call to illustrate a comic with her instead of Lynne. I enjoy them none the less either way.
