It seems I have a curse on my Themis paintings, and I can't seem to make a painting that satisfies me. I feel so embarrassed by this ugly painting that even as I write these lines, I'm wondering whether to make such a poor and unprofessional painting public.
But I also want you to see that everyone has things they'd rather sweep under the rug, at least when it comes to work. And prove to myself that I still have a lot of mountain left to climb.
I'll keep trying to make a Themis painting I can be proud of.
