Oof. That's rough for Tory. The show set this up a long time ago but then lulls the viewer into forgetting all about it; for quite a long time, and then BAM! There it is. Also, if you're feeling anxious now, you might want some anxiety meds cause the world tournament starts now! (As in, next episode to the end).

2026-03-19 07:00:08 +0000 UTCWhat I love about this show is the realism attempts they make about random bad life things that you can't stop from happening. There is moment in end of life care that they try to warn you about called 'The Rally'. When someone is heavily ill then suddenly seem like they are doing incredibly well, getting up and around, doing things, its because the body dumped that last of its 'feel good' chemicals that help the body through moments of struggle in one massive dose. Then they collapse when the chemicals burn out. Its meant to be a beautiful moment to see them live one last time but since its not talked about very much, most unaware people just think things are back to normal and they get caught unaware that this is their last moment to give their final words and hugs and kisses and smiles. Education about 'The Rally' needs to be spread way more than it currently has. When somebody starts to improve, great, but you can't stop observing them. In most cases, they will be fine but random medical issues can happen. No doctor is perfect. Be aware that doctors go through assigned training (an actual class in med school) to reinforce the idea that they are perfect because you want a confident doctor (plus there was a history of a high suicide rate in doctors that lose too many patients) but that confidence breeds the habit of overlooking things so you have to keep an eye on people that are improving for a little longer than they will. Most people don't realize this or are aware of this and it leads to problems like this. Also realize that they took away Tory's opportunities by stopping the fight. She has nothing. Being the Team Captain, maybe even winning the tournament could open doors for her she never could've without this opportunity. Its a World Stage. Tory is repressing her grief for now because the opportunity of a lifetime, the opportunity for her to have a big leg up on having to take care of her and her brother is right there. Cobra Kai was willing to give her that future. These last 10 episodes are intense, V. LFG! lol

It's always a good thing we get moment to make us laugh along with the heavy stuff . Barcelona! Here we go , let the games begin indeed ๐ฅ๐
