February Schedulization
Added 2021-02-26 00:21:19 +0000 UTCThis is my annual complaint about how much February sucks, because it's so short. There's sooooo much I want to do, but right now I'm prioritizing wrapping up six new pages for "Penny's Problem". There are sketch ideas I have, sketches I've done in pencils and want to spruce up and share, but I can't because I'm busy with the have-to stuff. But I'm keeping in touch so you don't think I'm just figuratively sitting on my ass.
There's more Madeline stuff to come. I've settled on the "temptation taboo" instead of the wallowing satanist. The sketches exist, and they involve a (yet another) new character. And there's some more Beth follow up that must also be done. But that stuff probably won't be seen until March.
Sorry for being quiet for a while. I'm making sure the comic update for the 5th of March is ready. Thank you!

2021-02-26 04:23:08 +0000 UTCMuch like how I long to own a hand crafted Pennsylvania long rifle flintlock but as so few were made for left handed folk such as myself and the modern hand made incarnations are so expensive, it's difficult to find one for sale or an artisan available to take on such a project; as not only is it a highly skilled commission, but it's also something that entails such a deviation (left sided lock) from regular work as to be many times as much as a standard commission might be.

2021-02-26 01:45:04 +0000 UTCWell more is the point, much like why TaniDaReal doesn't take fursuit commissions, it's not that you -can't- it's more that your 'day job' of art really doesn't permit it for a prove anyone would pay. For example, I suspect if a commissioner wanted to pay you something on the order of the low 5 figures to produce work, you might put your patreon on pause to accommodate them for a single month and frankly I think it would be unreasonable for any of us for our individual pennies to hold it against you. But the reality is that those who'd make it worth upsetting the unreasonable among your patrons or going on haitus for the more reasonable of us, are few and far between.

Of course, if you ever wanted to do more than temptation taboo without going full Satanism, there's a few heretical Christian sects that believe you can only truly repent if you've truly transgressed, and thus sin was encouraged. (According to some stories, Rasputin was such a heretic.)
