In a competitive game looking at other lanes is less needed as communication gives you a lot of information + being on the same page as your teammates. That's why I don't think it's that necessary, especially for him, junglers are usually way more vocal or support players in competitive.

You also said this makes him be a god in lane and play it almost perfectly but do you belive that if he tried to implement more camera movement that his laning would get worse ? Like how can he get away with not lookin much around the map ? Is his laning so good that it compensates for that ?
