Infinity Dungeon | Week #1: Balancing

A old-timer is back: The Green Slime!

Anyone who played the original Infinity Dungeon might remember the iconic Slime trio from the first area. Well, since this is a remake, this means it'll make its return here! Now, it's the turn of the Green Slime, and you can see her sprite in the second screenshot. I have also updated the battle UI to show our protagonist in real time.

A take on "balancing".

I did say that this version would be less grindy than the original. However, I have been thinking it through, and after thinking about the pacing and the amount of enemies, I have decided to go with a minimalistic (yet not inexistent) level system.

After leveling up, we may decide to increase one of our three stats.

* Length (16 cm - 30 cm): Determines the amount of damage our enemy takes.
* Girth (15 cm - 25 cm): Makes traps easier to escape.
* Cum (50 mL - 210 mL): Lets us withstand more enemy attacks before coming.

You can check these stats from the menu and also see our heroine's... progress!

A proper shop system!

To be honest, I hate menu-based shopping systems. They're just too bland! Now, you'll be able to walk around the whole shop and walk to the item you want to buy, and just press Z to buy it. It's a tad more interactive, and since there won't be a huge variety of items to buy, it won't be much of a tedious process!
