I Hate Computers
Added 2020-07-05 19:34:50 +0000 UTCWith all the new updates to everything, my Wacom drivers became fucked today. They were acting strange already but today they're acting like they don't have security permissions, when they do. They've been wiped clean and reinstalled as the latest drivers, and given all appropriate permissions indicated by the error window, but the error window persists every time the pen tries to indicate a "click" on screen, in any program, or tries to make a brush stroke in photoshop.
I'll search out advanced help over the next few days and keep trying things, but for now, I'm going to drink.
I had a good Audrey and Mary sketch lined up for finishing, too.

to err is human, to really get screwed up requires computer assistance from Windows OS :P

Blame "Microsoft Windows", and the horde of H1B and outsourced oxygen thieves they use to create their soul stealing lashed together 64 bit version of a 32 bit version of a 16 bit version of a stolen idea (look up Seattle Software, DOS, and CP/M for more information).

2020-07-05 19:45:29 +0000 UTCCould have a strip where Abigail helps a friend with Wacom drivers, and at first she's annoyed by such a paltry task (like asking Tony Stark to reset your router), but she becomes increasingly frustrated at the endless issues that prevent her from making the damn thing work. Not even super genius can overcome the dreaded driver update.
