Unhappy artists are more serious and demanding, happy artists have fun. I need to like the artist behind the music to really follow them. I actually followed 1D due to how fun they were as well as their voices. The fact they kept all the same staff from roadies, cook, hair, makeup, wardrobe etc plus backing band for the duration said a lot.
