I cannot go a single day without listening to his music. His voice is so healing! 🥰 And this album is such a masterpiece. Glad you finally got to enjoy it! And one of my favourite lyrics is in Insomnia "my sleep was stolen, I'm searching for thieves". Just brilliant. Thanks again! ❤️

SGT was a single that was released in march 2017, DTD was a single released in september 2017. when Icarus Falls came out in december 2018 it only had the first 27 tracks on it. i have so many favorite songs from this album, the whole thing is such a vibe, but like, top tier for me is Common, Back to Life, Tonight, Talk to Me, Flight Of The Stars, If I Got You, You Wish You Knew, and Good Years. also STG has a special place in my heart because it was the first song we got after MoM. also!! fun fact!! in the song Scripted, there's a part where it's Zayn talking and he says "t’s a nice, beautiful thing-" "-that it is a rarity in today’s generation." which was a commentary he made about the song Let Me in a phone interview he did with Zach Sang.

People love to talk about everything about him BUT his music. Pisses me off...

As some other have said, the prevalent theory is that good years is about his years in one direction, and it also makes sense lyric wise imo. And there's also an amusing interpretation of fingers but I'll let you google that yourself ;)

2021-04-24 02:29:57 +0000 UTCSooo I kinda skimmed first to see your reaction to good years as not only is it my favourite song on the album, it's also quite contravesial in the fandom as many people believe it is written about his 1d days and specifically about his 'fight' with Louis.. Louis himself, on the day the song was released tweeted something like "What a hypocrite?" Out of nowhere. So again fans took that Louis had interpreted the song that way also. I'm glad that u didn't even seem to pick up on that as I would like to believe that the general perspective is incorrect. Now I'm gonna watch the whole thing through.
