Easily one of their best videos hands down! I too am here because I discovered your reactions to LM, Ellie Goulding, JoBros etc. and just love your vibe so much! Ps when you realize the music is based on the classic Nokia ringtone🤯(took me far longer than I care to admit honestly).

I was here for the 1D content but then left for a bit (just cause I am super picky about content I like) and now you're in the Little Mix game...and I am HERE FOR IT!!! The new album "Confetti" drops next Friday Nov. 6th (which coincidently is my Birthday!!! yeeeeah boy! haha 🎂🎂🎂) But they've said it's gone back to their "pop roots" which is where the girls thrive...you should check out the other 2 official singles from this album "Break Up Song" which is TOTAL 80's sound, and "Holiday" which has such a unique chorus build up and drop , both very unique and different sounding....but yea "Sweet Melody" dropped the ball for these girls and it blasted the charts all over (except in the U,S,, surprise surprise :( ) but that being said...other than "Confetti" you really should check out "Glory Days" it's a true proper pop album from them and honestly one of their finest!

2020-10-31 11:31:38 +0000 UTCSorry to burst everyone's bubble but Jed Struts is NOT from America....he is in The Struts and he is from Bath, United Kingdom....he's British...as are The Struts...and he honestly has gone on record (as well as Jade has said) there was NO infidelity whatsoever ....their schedules were just too opposite so they ended it. So American Boy does not fit him ....and GOD STOP already...it is NOT about Zayn....too be completely honest...the girls did not have any part in writing this song, it is written by completely different writers, not even including Kamille., who would have definitely drawn from the girl's experiences being they're so close.

2020-10-31 11:23:38 +0000 UTCokay so i've seen a fair amount of people and news articles that (wrongfully) assume this song is about Zayn but it isn't! it's stupid to think so by the way, it's been 5 years and no offense but also full offense, it's insulting towards Perrie for them to think that she would be so nasty and immature as to hold a grudge for 5 years and still write songs about Zayn. she doesn't. end of. i love Perrie and will defend her, she would never. on the other hand, Jade and Jed only broke up last year and it even fits with American Boy, that song you were thinking of from LM5, because Jed was on tour in the US and they hadn't seen each other in awhile when they broke up.

A lot of people who are not that familiar with the group think that Sweet melody is about Zayn (he used to be engaged to one of the girls - Perrie, the blond one, but he broke off the engagement shortly after he left 1D and then moved to LA). But Sweet Melody, as well as American Boy, actually follow the story of Jade (the girl from the first verse) and her ex - Jed, who is from USA and is also in a band. They broke up a couple of years ago (there were rumors about him cheating, etc).

I love how simple the music video is, but it's still impactful. As much as I enjoy their conceptual videos, I love to see them just showing off how talented they are.

They also recently released two other songs from lm6 called ‘not a pop song’ and ‘happiness’ I think you’d really enjoy those too. They released lyric videos to both of those two other songs
