Her hairstyle is definitely fearless/speak now era, and she mentions Taylor Lautner, who she broke up with before Speak Now because Back To December is about their breakup. And the Kayne thing had just happened, which makes it that much more relevant and funny!

Fun fact though, this episode is actually from November 2009 not 2013, so just a few months after the whole VMAs thing which is why she really played that up since everyone was still talking about it. And you can actually still get the whole episode on iTunes for $3, and yes her skits are hilariously awkward (or maybe awkwardly hilarious depending on how you look at it) - another Patreon exclusive reaction maybe???
