Watching this video I remember why I love it so much and am definitely going to start playing it all the time again! I also got to see her open for Harry Styles, but the people behind me were so obnoxious and talking over her whole set so I didnβt get to fully appreciate it π Still had a great time at the show though!

Golden Hour is very much her breakout album (more people know who she is, not a bod thing) much like Fearless was Taylor Swifts breakout album, I don't think she sold out I feel like she just has grown up and changed her sound along with herself. I am excited to see what her next album will sound like.

2020-07-20 01:50:22 +0000 UTCI hate it when people clarify with Kacey that the first two albums are "still good" "even though" they're more country. This is why I feel Golden Hour sold out... Kacey Musgraves, the Kacey I know from being a fan since the beginning of her career, would be so incredibly offended by that statement but I've seen it so much in regards to Golden Hour. I don't understand why people can't just deal with it and admit country music isn't bad.

It's very matter of fact, unapologetic, raw, and real in a way that Golden Hour simply isn't. I actually felt as a long time fan that Golden Hour sold out. It's been hard to watch actually.
