Shadowheart bit back a noise as her stomach swelled slowly outwards, and as the pressure behind her breasts increased. She couldn't say for sure to what degree, but her duties as Selune's Matron had just become a little more strenuous. It wasn't without its boons, granted, as she found her healing magic and defensive spells strengthened (anything to do with giving life, really), but laboriously lugging around such a large stomach was beginning to prove troublesome.

None of her outfits fit her any longer, forcing her to display not only her motherly stomach, but the ever-increasing size of her bosom and the cleavage it sported. Her breasts were heavy and sore with all of the milk contained within, and it was getting to the point that she was having to use spells to displace the milk every so often just to get some relief.

She wasn't pregnant with something normal, that much was sure. Her stomach would shrink and grow at times, and with it the potency of her magic ebbed and flowed. Her best guess was that she served as some sort of incubator for Selune's power: a conduit through which her followers -- Shadowheart herself included, now -- were able to interface with their deity. It made sense, and it was hard to deny that being able to heal Tav and the others from death's door without even breaking a sweat was quite lovely.

...But did it have to be done in such an embarassing form factor? She supposed that she'd done far worse while under the servitude of Shar, but the reborn Selunite still didn't have to like all the unnecessary aesthetic changes...
