Wrong Turn

What had been a simple recon mission to better understand the new kingpin's shady dealings in the power industry quickly went awry when Gwen took a wrong turn in the air vents. Landing in a vat of irradiated milk was embarrassing enough, but what came next made that feel like nothing.

At first, it'd been just a warm, tingly sensation. She thought the weight was just her suit being soaked... and maybe it HAD been, but as the squelching of footsteps became the sloshing of milk in her chest, that quickly ceased to be the case.

Her transformation warped and distorted her frame, tore her costume and altered her DNA. As Gwen stifled the almost instinctual urge to moo at the twisted pleasure of her increasingly-bovine body's changes, she couldn't help but quip to herself that -- between the spider and bovine dna -- she probably didn't even qualify as human anymore.

Her shoes slipped off her feet as they became hooves, and her panic increased as her body became so heavy and unwieldy that -- for all her strength -- the wobbling and ever-shifting center of mass forced her to seek support against a wall.

She had to get out of there --- she could find a cure to this later. Maybe call in a favor with SHIELD even if it meant owing them big. But if she didn't get out without being spotted, the Spider-Bovine had a sinking feeling she'd be turned into quite the pet project for the facility...
