okay. when I woke up this morning. I was STARVING. like I was extremely hungry. I haven't eaten an actual meal in a day and it was starting to affect me.
so I decided to make myself breakfast. which is something I NEVER do okay? I never have the time to. But now that I quit my job, and just bought some groceries the day before, I was excited to see what I could make with all of this free time.
so I went all out! I even went to the store to get rice to try and make the BOTW meaty rice balls recipe. and HEY! I think I did pretty damn good!

(eh,, actually. I made a total of 4 rice balls,, but the other ones fell apart. so these are the pretty ones.. BUT AYE they look great right?!)
after cooking my white rice I shaped them into lil' triangles, and wrapped the bacon around them! BUT You HAVE to cross the bacon around the front to keep it tucked, trust me I know. then put them in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes AT 350. Then BOOM. Really simple and really good!
For my asparagus and spinach, I sautéed them (separately) in minced white onion, butter, minced garlic, and Chinese fried chili and oil, and sautéed them to my liking. (10-15 minutes)
Then to top this big ol breakfast off! I decided to make roasted golden potatoes, Italian bread toast, and an over-hard egg. Topped off with bacon bits, leftover from the two other rice balls I fucked up!!
The entire time I really felt like I was cooking for Link!? (How dorky is that?!) but man I wish I could share food through a screen because it was really good.
I definitely recommend spoiling yourself with a big homemade breakfast sometime (when you have the time of course!) It was fun imagining cooking for my childhood hero. It's been a pretty busy, hectic week so I needed this lil bit of fun ♡︎
