Player Stats
Added 2024-03-25 23:00:03 +0000 UTCAs some of you know, there was a requirement a few updates ago, in order to visit the Fox village with Lisa for the first time, you had to train up in the gym with Rose first, but that was recently removed as a requirement.
Which got me to thinking, I had a whole system in place for stats like strength, intelligence, charisma and magic, but it would require grinding, which I didn’t want to have in my game, so I kinda abandoned the whole idea, and never unlocked more than just strength.
So my question is,
Is a system like that something you’d like to see?
Yes - I’ll start looking for ways to implement it in the future, probably in the upcoming island updates
No - I’ll scrap the whole system and replace it with something different, I don’t know what yet, but I’m open to suggestions.

I'd be cool with a stats system if they flow with the story. Like each progression can be used as clear checkpoints to push for a new scene, even if just a new couple moments of unique interaction; a few tiny moments of getting to know Rose a little better, for example. Maybe each stat corresponds to one of the ladies, maybe even just the core group. If they're more like "taking the next step" instead of "repetitive grind", I think that could be very fulfilling. Pairing it with mini relationship advancement could make it feel like a 2-for-1 accomplishment. Edit: That said, having clearly explained ways to fill time between dates and other time specific meetings would be superior to just "waiting" in your room or dutifully going to work. Not that we're short of options, necessarily, but a few more couldn't hurt, could it?
