2024-07-31 17:58:32 +0000 UTCAre you in another country? As I was saying, if you're in the US, your DVD is of a third cut, called the Director's Expanded Edition. There is no US disc release of the theatrical cut on any format. Between VHS and the HD digital transfer, there was no way to get the theatrical here.

The theatrical cut is available in the US in at least one place, VUDU/Fandango, but the DVD is a third cut of the film called the Expanded Edition, and the Blu-ray is what is officially called the Director's Definitive Edition.

Lots of running up steep, rocky mountainsides. Emotionally puts you through the ringer as well. Try to watch the director's cut if possible. Really well done night battle outside the fort
