He is kind of in a hurry, so he isn't exploring ANY additional powers. Supposedly, the people of his district are always searching for their next step up, so he should be able to get, like, a Cultivation system, some kind of Psyker-tyoe ability, and potentially upgrade himself with tech and advanced biology. Though the last two seem less likely, instead he will likely get like a technomagical smart phone or whatever.

Sometimes when authors want to do that more naturally it feels really awkward when the main character "opens up their stats to take a look". Much rather this way where we dispense of the pretense and just paste the stat sheet for the reader.

Shadow very clearly wants a dynasty of power to fill her universes. Especially power so adept at keeping everything running smooth. She has shown a liking to this idea for a long time, given the Gods of Magic tend to be her offspring.

Also while l like the empire building and war aspects, I find the magic creation and civilization building aspects more interesting. Can we also see more of Ericks feelings about all the big changes and potential shakeups to his future plans and relationships. Thanks for the chapter
