Huh. I wonder how utterly childish and powerless the Odaari King feels after this meeting going the way it did. Spiraling so out of control he's simply not powerful enough or influential enough to sit at the table. Totally deserved little humbling if I say so myself.

Ultimately it does seem like things are ramping up in tension and power level in a major way. I can see Erick feeling like he is getting in way over his head. However I like that you keep His core personality the same even tho he has changed and grown as a person. He is fundamentally someone that wants to make the world a better place one step at a time ethically as well as sharing power with others so that he doesn't become a tyrant or corrupt. Thanks for the chapter.
