In Feb I made a video on the history of 3D graphics on the GBA, and man it was a marathon to put together. It was nice to do something that's more information and less opinion, and it was also nice to go back to my roots a bit, but I'm glad I'm going back to regular reviews for a little while. Proud of it, but whew I feel like I'm still in recovery! I also made the Narcos video, which I'm more happy with than I thought I'd be. Almost pure mechanics talk is tough to make interesting, especially when the game is bad.
March is looking busy. I'm currently taking a break from writing my Driver 2 20th anniversary video, set to come out later this week. And I have 007 Blood Stone slated for the end of the month. I'm surprised by how much I liked that game, and I'm trying to get dev comments for it too. In-between those two is another video that I won't spoil - in classic minimme fashion it's a fairly obscure game with a very popular license.
I don't have much more to say this time really! I guess so far 2020 has felt like a real hustle. It's been mostly uninterrupted working on YouTube and I'm trying to make the most of it while keeping things fresh and interesting.
